Brad Bold is a seasoned and respected participant of the commercial real estate community. He has over 22 years of experience in the industry, having started his career in New Orleans. After receiving his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Tulane University, he joined Coldwell Banker Commercial, and later joined Goldsmith-Hernandez Partnership (the third largest apartment developer in New Orleans) as general manager.
Mr. Bold continued his career as a General Manager for David Chotan Inc. Builders when he moved to Long Island in 1987. In 1989, Mr. Bold returned to commercial real estate sales where he worked for Sutton & Edwards and Lawrence & Roberts, primarily representing Long Island tenants in the marketplace.
Some of Mr. Bold’s notable transactions include representing Intertech, a medical receivables company when it moved from Lake Success to Syosset, and ultimately expanded twice to 22,000 square feet. Mr. Bold also represented American Psych Systems when it leased three different sites in Westbury, Smithtown and Elmsford. Additionally, he assisted Huntington Eye Care when it leased 5,300 square feet on Park Avenue in Huntington. He sold 575 Broadhollow Road in Melville a 30,000 sf office building. Mr. Bold also negotiated a 22,000 lease renewal for Georgia Pacific in Jericho, NY.
In addition to the lease transactions, Mr. Bold has also represented several Long Island physicians and medical practices in finding and buying suitable buildings and land. He also sold two acres to Advanced Dermatology in Commack, sold Dr. Steven Esposito a building on Frances Lewis Boulevard in Bayside and represented Dr. Roger Koreen when the practice purchased a building in Huntington for his own use; and Hicksville Family Practice sf 9,800 property in Hicksville.
His largest deal was the relocation of the Hauppauge Public Library to 19,200 square feet for a thirty year term.
In addition to his business achievements, Mr. Bold sat on the Board of Trustees at North Shore Synagogue in Long Island for ten years, and is a past president of North Shore Synagogue’s Brotherhood. He also coached in the Syosset Basketball League, Syosset Soccer and Syosset Little League. He served on both the Board of the Girls Softball League and the Boys Little League. Mr. Bold is the immediate past President of the Bin Long Island Networking Group where he was on the Board for the past 8 years. He's new to South Florida, but looking to make his mark!
